Hello everyone,
I was working in an organization in Gurgaon, but their EPF office is in Hyderabad. Now I have left the organization without serving the notice period due to some reasons. They are not giving me the UAN nor supporting to get my PF. However, I have my PF number and other details. So, how can I withdraw my PF amount? Also, my mobile number that I provided at that time has been changed. What should I do now? Please guide.

The notice period is the time period between the receipt of the letter of dismissal and the end of the last working day. This time period has to be given to an employee by his/her employer before his/her employment ends.
It also refers to the period between the resignation date and the last working day in the company when an employee resigns.

First of all, you need to clear all your dues and get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your previous employer to avoid legal proceedings. Then, you can ask for your rights.
You may find out your Universal Account Number (UAN) by using your PF number. You need to visit the UAN portal and provide the required details to obtain your UAN.

As you have changed your contact number, the PIN or OTP goes to your previous number. You either have to call your previous number and check if anyone is using it. If yes, explain your issue and request them to share the PIN or OTP. If no one is using the number, you can visit the respective store and request the same contact number.

Dear Adi,
If you know the UAN number, go to https://unifiedportal.epfindia.gov.in/ and select "Forgot Password." By providing your personal details, you can reset your password even if you have changed your phone number.
Another option to withdraw your PF is by visiting the PF office. You can submit your PF withdrawal claim directly to the EPFO, and they will handle the rest. However, it is essential to maintain consistent follow-up with the EPFO to expedite the receipt of the amount.
Moreover, if your KYC details are linked to the system, you can withdraw your PF directly without requiring employer approval on the form. For your reference, I am attaching the Aadhar-based withdrawal form.

You can get your UAN number by using your PF member ID, PAN number, or Aadhar number. The UAN number will be sent to your registered mobile number through SMS. In order to obtain your UAN through PAN or Aadhar, they must be linked with your UAN number. You can also generate your UAN number at the UAN member portal without your employer's involvement. After generating the UAN, provide it to your employer, and they will make contributions to that UAN number.
