As an HR professional, one has a lot of work and responsibilities to manage. The following are the responsibilities of an HR generalist:
1) Conducting Performance Appraisals
2) Administering Employee Satisfaction Surveys
3) Handling Recruitment & Selection
4) Conducting Induction Programs
5) Managing Full and Final Settlements for employees leaving the organization
6) Creating the HR Budget at the end of the Financial year
7) Performing Competency Mapping for the organization
8) In the case of a manufacturing organization, addressing issues related to HR
9) Developing the Training Calendar
10) Organizing training programs for employees
11) Establishing policies for the organization
