Recently, I got recruited in a MNC. The issue is I promised my new employer that I can join in 15 days even though I have a notice period of 30 days with my current employer (it's my mistake). My new employer has given me a joining date after 15 days, stating that he can manage my joining date by extending it 4 more days. However, my current employer is not ready to relieve me until they find a new resource to replace me or until I complete my full notice period of 30 days.
If I explain the situation to my new HR, will they accept it? Will they extend my joining date by another 15 days? Have I lost this offer? What should I do now?

I have submitted my resignation on December 23rd, and my new employer has provided me with a joining date of January 7th. Additionally, they mentioned that they could adjust my joining date by extending it until the following weekend. However, according to my current employer, I am expected to complete my notice period of 30 days, ending on January 22nd. Will my new employer be willing to accommodate this later joining date?

Dear sir,
Upon careful perusal of the conditions explained in your post, I see a different perspective and foresee a practical problem with a personal suggestion. You may not necessarily lose the offer at the new organization, but you will certainly face difficulty in overcoming the impression of being unreliable if such a situation arises. I suggest that you demonstrate your intelligence by initiating an emotional communication with your new employer. Explain that your current company is urging you to stay and is making every effort to ensure the completion of all important tasks within one month's time. Since there is no immediate replacement available, and the new hire selected in haste will only join after a month, it would not be appropriate to abruptly leave your current company with unfinished work. Therefore, you should kindly request a one-month extension before commencing your new role.
Express that you would prefer a graceful exit after finishing all pending assignments within this extra month. Subsequently, you can provide a certificate of relieving and ensure a proper handover of responsibilities before promptly joining the new organization. Please bear in mind that this display of emotional intelligence is a one-time strategy with long-lasting effects.
Best wishes,
