My company have a bad habit to deduct employee salary without any valid reason and fire the employees on the just before salary timing to save money. I want to know what kind of action I can take against company because it spoils employee’s career and insulting of work.

They cannot do so. Under the Payment of Wages Act, read along with the Shops and Establishment Act, the deductions allowed can only be deducted. So, read the act summary on the website below.

Also, under the Punjab Shops and Establishment Act, they cannot remove any employee like this. Read the act summary on the website below.

You can file a complaint with your local labor inspector, and they will take care of it for you.

@LABOUR LAW INDEX, Thank you so much for replying. Sir, I just want to know what proof list I need to submit and show to the local labor inspector. It becomes a very serious matter when an IT company makes a habit of removing employees after taking advantage of required work and then firing them without giving a salary. They also deduct salary for minor issues without any warning and without setting parameters for employee deductions. Sometimes they use our own rules according to their comfort. I have been working in this company for more than 1.6 years and have witnessed many cases of employee abuse, employees being removed without salary, and unwanted salary deductions. All these actions put employees into deep trouble. Please help.
