I am working as a software developer in one of the private limited IT companies in Ahmedabad.
The problem is when I joined the company, they took a 14-month agreement from me, and this is not the only thing; they also took an undated check equivalent to three months of my salary.
The HR management is very bad there. They want me to work 9.5 hours per day, including only a one-hour lunch break. Even after spending overtime in the working area, they are not giving me any allowances. They don't trust any employees; there are many cameras with audio recordings, too, for controlling us, making it feel like we are in jail.
At the time of joining, I clearly told the HR manager to release me in case I wanted to go out of the country, and he promised me that.
Now, I have given my resignation just because I want to explore better opportunities outside of India. I am ready to serve the notice period of two months, but they didn't allow me and are harassing me to give three months' salary.
After many arguments, they decided to take 1.5 months of salary.
I didn't receive my salary for the last month, and now I have to endure until 15th August 2016 without pay.
I am facing many problems just because of not receiving that 1.5 months' salary. It is a humble request to please provide me with a resolution for this; I want my salary back.

Have you conveyed the current situation to your new employer? Please let us know so we can provide you with better solutions. You can also seek the help of an advocate who specializes in corporate issues. Based on his suggestions, you can approach the local labor inspector.
