Please help me suggest a course of action. I worked for close to 3 years for an organization (Idhasoft Ltd.) in Pune. The company was later sold to DSR Infotech Limited in March 2015. I resigned from the company when it was still officially Idhasoft Limited in May 2015. Subsequently, the Operations Head of DSR in India called me and threatened that I must leave the office on the 25th day of my two-month notice period. I had no choice but to comply with this request.
The HR team assured me via email about my FnF (Full and Final settlement) and pending Form-16 from the last year, promising that they would be paid shortly. After 45 days (as per the standard company policy), I began following up on this matter. However, they continuously provided commitments without a definitive time frame. In August, they paid approximately 20% of the FnF amount agreed upon but continued to promise the release of the remaining amount and Form-16.
Come November, they outright denied both payments. This same scenario has affected no fewer than 10 employees across various locations in India. One of my colleagues from the Gurgaon location has resorted to sending a legal notice through a lawyer.
I kindly request recommendations for a trustworthy lawyer in Pune and advice on the best course of action.

Hi Buddy,
I had the same issue with my previous company. I would suggest you file a case against your employer at the labor office by explaining your situation, and they will send a legal notice to them. I am sure you will definitely get support from them.

Is there any restriction on salary to come under labor court? i heard if salary is below 22000 then can be filed under labor court else not.

Dear Friend,
You must file a suit against the company and its managing agent for the recovery of dues under the ID Act. Provide details to your lawyer or labor adviser regarding your joining and date of exit, i.e., resignation. Show the detailed communication you have made regarding the full and final settlement. Since they have forced your resignation, ask for some compensation according to your appointment conditions.
