I seek your help with something! It's the time for goal setting in our organization for the Performance Review that will happen in September. While most of the employees have already uploaded their goals, I want to send an email to the recently joined employees who would have settled in the system by now and need to upload their goals. I am looking to initiate this by sending an email to them. However, I am unsure of how to start the email. I aim to set the tone by mentioning something like "hope you have settled well in the system and are clear about the KRAs"... It would be really helpful if you could share your thoughts on the same.

You may also begin with "Hope you have become familiar with the company system by now. I also hope you have thought/finalized your KRAs and already started working in that direction. I would appreciate your uploading the KRAs in the system by ...(timeline) which would further help us (HR) to begin the Performance Review process in due course of time."

This email is a reminder regarding uploading your respective KRAs/goals in conformation with your reporting manager for this quarter (you decide the timeframe). As you all must be aware, this is a mandated process that we all have to adhere to, ensuring both you and your reporting manager are clear about your job objectives and expected results from you. Let me reiterate the process for your convenience:
- Employees should define their goals and submit them to their reporting manager to schedule a one-on-one meeting.
- Employees should seek approval from the reporting manager (after agreeing on any modifications).
- Employees should upload their goal-setting document to the HR internal site.
- Assess performance in accordance with the goals on a weekly/monthly basis (I strongly recommend this to all new employees to ensure they understand shortcomings and can proactively fill any gaps rather than waiting until the end of the cycle).
Team, this is a very important task that will make you aware of your performance before any gaps are highlighted. I expect all of your support and cooperation in this regard. If you encounter difficulty in this process, you may contact any member of the HR team who will assist you.
