Dear Seniors,
I am Anand, working in Manufacturing Org. at Delhi. we have taken ESIC number from Delhi & Noida both. Our few staff who was working here in Delhi office is shifted to Noida Office.
Will we need to fill new forms for those employee (who shifted Noida) or the old form { already submitted in Delhi} can be transferred to Noida office. what is the procedure to transfer the ESIC from Delhi to Noida and what documents it need.
Suggest me, will be much obliged for your kind co-operation.
Thanks
Anand

1. Sir, so far as I understand, you are required to obtain new insurance numbers from concerned branch office of ESIC situated in Noida.
2. You can get the record transferred from Delhi Office of ESIC to Noida Office, which may take suitable action regarding allotment of new insurance numbers to your old employees employed in Delhi. However, it will be more better if you may discuss the issue with the Branch Office Manager of ESIC, Noida Office since it is a procedural matter.

In the current scenario there is no need to transfer the employees.
ESIC applies to the company as a whole.
The workers are entitled too ail of benefits anywhere in the country where ESIC facilities are available
You need to make sure that each worker has a family photo smart card. Then it does not matter where the records are and where it's being handled.
You will, however, need to have immateculate records of the statutory payment and wages.
So in the wage register in noida, yuh must clearly mention which place the ESIC is being paid, so that a proper total can be taken for reconciliation during inspection.

Thanks a lot Mr. Saswata Banerjee, i just like to clear one point that company have ESIC no. on both place Delhi as well as Noida, so there is no any problem if i paid such employee (which shifted to Noida) ESIC in Delhi and in wage register in Noida we mention place the ESIC is being paid (Delhi).
And what about Delhi wage register, we have to mention it both place Delhi as well as Noida ?

1. Sir, thanks. The issue raised by you is of procedural nature. But one aspect is clear that if your some of employees are living/residing in Noida itself alongwith their families, then they have to get themselves registered in Noida itself so that they can get medical facilities locally, otherwise they have to go to Delhi. However, I have already suggested you to consult the appropriate Branch Office Manager of ESIC, Noida to ascertain correct procedure in the matter so that in times of need, your employees may not face difficulties in getting medical benefits.
2. Insured Persons normally are attached to one ESI dispensary and ESIS Hospital. In order to get medical facilities from any other dispensary or hospital, I think, form 105 etc. is required to be filled up by the employer. In case of dire need of medical facilities, employees generally are not in a position to avail such facilities and therefore they feel as being harassed and generally say that there is no use of ESIS.

Since ESIC is now at central level, it would not matter where your wage register is.
However, in case of an inspection, at either place, it is important that the inspector can reconcile the amount due with amount paid.
So, at both places, you need to identify how many employees are covered under ESIC under each sub code.
One way is to put the subcode in the wage register (or in the other records from which you generate ESIC statement). That way you can quickly sort and make a sub-statement to show the inspector.
