Hi,
Along with the appointment letter, you have to share the salary breakup. You can make it a part of the appointment letter or add it as an Annexure and issue it along with the appointment letter.
As part of the breakdown, if you are showing it as CTC, the following components should be mentioned:
1) Fixed Allowances (Fixed wages such as Basic, DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Medical allowance, etc.)
2) Variable Allowances (Incentive, Bonus, etc.)
3) Benefits (ER contribution to EPF, ESI, and insurance, Gratuity, Statutory Bonus, etc.)
There is no need to show the TDS. It is not possible to show the TDS along with the appointment letter.
