A HR Generalist shall have knowledge of various functions of HR which include joining formalities, issuing posting orders, coordinating training needs of employees, monitoring punctuality and attendance, assisting reporting or HR heads in performance management, looking after day-to-day labor/employee needs, attending to employee grievances at the unit level, administering discipline, complying with statutory requirements and procedures like the Shops Act, ESI, PF, gratuity, Factories Act, or any other Act applicable to the industry you work in.
