Dear Sandeep,
What is happening is unfortunate. Nevertheless, the pertinent question is what you were doing for the last eight years. You could have raised your query on this forum 5-6 years ago.
When employers do not give any salary hike, it only goes on to show that you are persona non grata. They are waiting for you to go on your own. Rather than quitting the job, you held on to the job steadfastly. It is purely employer's call as to whose salary to be increased and by what per cent to be increased. Therefore, there cannot be dispute on this count.
Your employers are deducting Professional Tax (PT). But then what about Provident Fund (PF)? Is it deducted or you are kept out the purview of this social security as well? If you wish to take on your employer then you make a formal complaint to the PF office. However, this option is fraught with risk. Your employer may try to fix you in some other issue and possibly may terminate you. This would be far grave situation than the present one.
Have you spoken with your Manager? Since you are long-serving employee by now top management must be knowing you. Did you ask for their appointment and told your problem? Possibly top leadership is not happy with the quality of your work or performance. They could be thinking that allowing you to work in their company itself is a great concession hence no need to give further salary hike. Why are you singled out from the salary hike? Have you studied the reasons?
I recommend you doing SWOT analysis of your career. Based on the SWOT analysis, prepare the career plan. Identify the potential employers for you and start looking for a change.
Last but not the least, please be calm and maintain your composure. Workplace issues should not impact your health. Your family members need you badly. Therefore, everything depends on your health and taking care of your health is of paramount importance.
Thanks,

Dear Sandeep,
I suggest that you go for enriching your capabilities. There are so many ways of doing this.Enrol yourself in part time/correspondence courses with weekend counselling sessions. There you would find like minded people and practising managers as lecturers. From personal experience I can tell that these sessions are immensely helpful in that you can share your ordeal with others as others (including lecturers) also do.A lot can be learnt about management theory and what is actually practiced in industry. This will divert your mind away from the present boring job which seems to have no future. It shall give you the thrill of learning something new and after completion shall enhance your job prospects. So , just go for it.I did my MBA after putting eight years of service and it was one of the best decisions I made in life.So , hopefully in your next post we would hear something positive ! All the best.

While I fully agree with Mr. Divekar & Mr. Saibhakta, I have following questions
Did the company issue appointment letter when they appointed you? And if they did, what does the appointment letter say about annual increment/bonus/ gratuity / PF etc. ??
The way private companies are run, leave a lot to be desired in terms of ethics, work culture, compliance with laws etc. Under the circumstances instead of allowing the existing work culture affect your health, try to find another job for yourself and after getting one resign from the present job. Perhaps the present employers are thinking in terms of 'where will this guy go?... after all he has been working here for 8 years.' An appointment letter with another company will give you better bargaining power with the management. Personally, I do not like this approach but such companies deserve it.
