Dear HRS,
My name is raja, I am IT professional need to discuss one concern with you.
I appreciate your response on same.
In 2010 I had two years of experience, ( 4 month in previous employer & Rest in current employer).
Then I got offer from wipro infotech, after I resigned in my current company , I got call from wipro
HR and they told me to that there are not ok with background check for my previous company.
so I continued in my current company.
now in this year I got offer from big IT company MNC and I have not shown them experience in my previous employer which wipro was not happy with Back ground check.
Now I have only shown the current company which I am serving around 6+ years.
my friend told me that if wipro have blacklisted you then you are not able to get job in othe Big IT MNC.
DO I face any problem because in 2010 wipro have ask me to not join?
I mean do they have black listed me and share data to other companies?

Dear Desairaja,
Back Ground Check or Back Ground Verification(BGV) is done, to ascertain if the facts and figures provided by you to the company is in line with the reality. So was there anything that you had presented which was not the reality, this can be anything, right from the work profile till the salary, any data that was shared by you wrongly is a non complanince as per BGV.
Now if the BIG IT MNC does a BVG and finds out that you had worked for a firm, but you have not shown it as a part of the profile, then what will you do? If Wipro has blacklisted you and shared the data this only Wipro can answer.
So the right thing to do is to have the right information shared and right documents handed over.

Blacklisting on NASSCOM is only for those who joined and left without motive, without completing handover or where the employment was terminated on account of a fraud or fake data that showed up in a BVG.
The likely hood of Wipro posting a blacklist in NASSCOM for unclear BVG of someone who was not finally offered a job is low. You can always try and see. What do you lose ?

Hello Raja,
Like Saswata Banerjee mentioned, the likelihood of Wipro posting a blacklist in NASSCOM in cases like your's is remote AND so is the possibility of sharing BVG results between Companies.
Usually any records sharing with NASSCOM is in the context of the EMPLOYEES leaving the services IMPROPERLY [absconding being one such reason] OR those who joined & then fail the BVG.
All the Best.

""they told me to that there are not ok with background check for my previous company.

What exactly was not OK in BGV about previous check??
There are always small companies which come up and equally quickly wind up.
But if you have worked with such a small outfit it really does not make your employment not OK.
But as learned members above have opined no point having unnecessary fears of Nasscom etc unless there is something more to your query which is not disclosed.

Perhaps you can have someone check with NASSCOM as to whether there is any negative notes in the national skill registry against your name ..... That will allow your mind to rest in peace
