In an interview, I was asked, "What do you mean by Employee Engagement?" Also, do you think that the games and activities organized by management keep the employees engaged? I was not able to understand. Kindly suggest a good answer for this.

Dear Vaybhav,

The interview is over now. If the milk is spilt by chance, then there is no point in crying over it. Against this backdrop, search the net to find out what employee engagement is. Discover who has conducted studies on employee engagement activities and whether anyone has measured the ROI on these activities. Craft your response and post it here. Seek feedback from seniors on your reply.

There is a wealth of material available on this forum regarding employee engagement. However, it would be considered spoon-feeding to recommend something specific from either this forum or another website. Moving beyond spoon-feeding, one cannot truly grow even with spade-feeding. Therefore, take the interview as a lesson, work on your own, and then request feedback.

Best of luck!

Yes, the name of the training is being coined and called Employee Engagement Programs. Certainly, the games and activities conducted as part of such programs will be useful and effective. For any further doubts or clarification, please feel free to contact info@knowledgecure.in.
