Hi,

In my company, 60% of the staff is above 50 years old. Can anyone suggest some engagement activities for them? It is sometimes difficult to get them to participate as well. Insights will be appreciated.

Dear Parinaaz,

Please confirm what kind of employee engagement activities are on your mind. Secondly, why do you feel that engagement is necessary? When it comes to engagement activities, have you categorized these into two parts - physical and mental or intellectual engagement? If these seniors prefer the latter, then why force physical engagement activities on them?

By the way, if these individuals are seniors, what is the quality of their supervision? Are they HODs? If so, are they meeting their department's targets?
