Hello,
Our Company's factory and office building are in the same premises. Is it mandatory to get registered under both the Acts and follow the related norms for related places, ie Factory Act for the Factory and Shops & Establishment Act for the adjacent office?
Please help me sort out the problem.

My question however was different. I wanted to know from HR with Manufacturing Company working experience who has factory and office building placed together, what act do they follow while deciding on the leave and other policies? Do they maintain both Factory & Shops & establishment registration? If they do, then which act decides the HR Policies?
If someone can help me sort this out, I shall be really grateful.
