To measure performance accurately, you need to study the systems and processes of each department and then design the KPIs and KRAs for each department. I agree with Mr. Dinesh Divekar that measuring an employee's performance may vary from company to company. There are various tools, systems, and processes available to measure employee performance. I would suggest that you familiarize yourself with the basics of performance appraisals, Key Performance Indicators, etc., to gain a better understanding of the subject before proceeding.
