I have recently joined a pharmaceutical company. I am asked to prepare job descriptions for the Quality Control Officer, Manager, Production Manager, Admin Supervisor, Account Manager, etc. Can anyone send me the same? Also, I have to conduct performance appraisals for all the staff in the pharmaceutical company. Is there anybody available to help me?

Dear Parash,
Job Description: Formats are available in this forum. Please check this forum. Above all, you need to sit with the individual and understand the various job requirements. JD can be designed only then.
Performance Appraisal: Rather than concentrating solely on Performance Appraisal (PA), I recommend instituting a comprehensive Performance Management System (PMS). PA is part of PMS.
Setting up a Performance Management System (PMS) is a far more serious activity. It must be handled with due sensitivity. Instituting PMS requires great exposure across the spectrum of industries. If mishandled, it may do more harm than good.
To know more about instituting PMS in the company, you can click [here](https://www.citehr.com/490150-job-description-link-kra-kpi-pms.html#post2140544) to refer to my past post.
There is a lot of misconception about the concepts of KPI and KRA. To dispel this misconception, I have uploaded my presentation on Youtube. To view that video, you may click [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMEjMQzYVSs).
I have been providing replies on this subject time and again. If you wish to refer to my past replies, you can click the following links:

I specialize in consulting on PMS. To learn more about my services, you can click [here](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1a4PoJW1CgnX-CdaGecTZ3xQXfTyPgp0l5vrcFJddsw4/edit#slide=id.p30). Discuss with your management, and if they are ready, we can work together. If you engage my services, I will conduct a thorough study of each department and design new measures that you may not have considered before.

Hi Parash,
A job description is a broad, general, written statement of a specific job. It generally includes duties, purpose, responsibilities, scope, and working conditions of a job along with the job's title and the name or designation of the person to whom the employee reports. A job description usually forms the basis of job specification.
A job specification is a statement of employee characteristics and qualifications required for satisfactory performance of defined duties and tasks comprising a specific job or function.
Hope with these, you can frame things as per your requirement.

Dear Parash,
You may get lots of samples if you "Google". Almost all the job descriptions would be similar for a particular post except a few (differs within the industry). I am sending a few that I have collected. "Go through and prepare" one as per your requirements (pharma industry).
Kindly, don't just copy and paste!! Take out what can be used for your industry as well as the company. Regarding performance appraisal, you may find lots of models on citehr.
All the best!!

Imran
