Hello Seniors,
I want to discuss my problem. I have an employee who left my organization without informing anyone and also changed his number. I tried sending a warning letter to the address he provided on the date of joining our organization. However, the speed post was returned, indicating that he has changed his address and moved to a different location.
My question is: At this time, I am helpless as I am unable to proceed. I cross-checked his address with the bank where he had his salary account, but the address remains the same. I have his PAN card number; is there any way to trace his address using his PAN card number?
I would be very grateful if this issue could be resolved with your valuable suggestions.

No its not possible to trace him via Pan card... Possible Job sites, Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter etc you might get a hold of him..

The employee friend might also be useful here. Nowadays, even if a person changes his/her number, they may still get updated on WhatsApp and other sites. You could consider using this as a source.

Processes are meant to help you get your work done. If an employee has left without informing you and you need to contact them as a legal formality, you may consider searching for them through a newspaper notice. If they have left with company assets, you can seek help from the police. If your only basis for assuming they have changed their address is a notification from a speed post letter, it is still advisable to verify this by physically visiting the address. You may be in for a surprise.
