Sir, we have so many risk assessments, like HAZOP, HARA, HIRA, JSA, FTA, etc.

Then basically, I have to do a risk assessment on the product. I am totally confused about which type of risk assessment I have to do.

When it comes to risk assessments on storage tanks, chiller, boiler, and reactor, I am unsure which type of risk assessment I should conduct.

Please clarify my doubt as I need to start the risk assessments of the above-mentioned things.

Dear Safety Professionals,

Please guide on what risk assessment entails. What is the significance of severity and likelihood in risk assessment? How should the rating be provided for the respective potential hazards, i.e., 5, 4, 3, 2, 1?

Please provide guidance on the aforementioned topics.

With Regards,
Suresh
