Can I get a undertaking draft to get it signed from employees for providing medicines (tablet) at work place. where it says tablet are taken at my own risk.
If you are that wary, then please don't provide tablets at all. There is no need to obtain any indemnity undertaking. Even if you are providing the tablets and even after such an undertaking, you still bear responsibility for the medicines administered, at least morally and ethically, even if you may avoid it legally.

The factory is expected to have first aid boxes with certain medicines as laid out in the Act/rules. There is no point in keeping other medicines. Undertaking this will worsen the matter as it implies that knowingly, other medicines that may require a doctor's prescription are being kept, risking being passed to workers. Please stick to the list given in the Factories Act if your establishment is a factory.

Oh, it looks barbaric... How do people get all these below-standard ideas? Medicines should be given only by a qualified doctor.
When it comes to ointments used on the skin, they should be treated like small injuries - taken and applied from the first aid box.
For any fever-like diseases, a doctor's care is essential. Injections and internal medicines should only be used under the observation of an authorized MBBS doctor. No experiments on your employees, please.
Self-medication is always prohibited, sir.
