A very happy new year to all of you. I have completed my graduation in Civil Engineering and am currently working in a construction company as an engineer. I am interested in pursuing an MBA in HR through non-attendance.
I am seeking advice on whether I should continue in my current job in the construction field or explore opportunities in HR. I have only been in my current job for 5 months. Your guidance on this decision would be greatly appreciated.

What is the job role you are currently handling? I understood that your designation is of an engineer in a construction company, but can you give details of the job role and your responsibilities? How long have you been in this role?
Secondly, why do you want to do an MBA in HR? It is very necessary to understand this. If you wish to pursue an MBA in HR because your friends, family, or colleagues advised you to do so, I suggest dropping the plan. If you think it is a very lucrative job where you have to sit in the office for 8 hours and do nothing, I recommend dropping the plan. If you have a concrete reason justifying your intention to pursue an MBA in HR, please share. Please understand that HR is a very serious role (unlike it being perceived as a very cold role). Are you aware of the roles and duties of HR, and do you think you align with them?

As Ankita has rightly put it, you need to explain your rationale. I wish to continue the point raised by Ankita. To say it all in a lighter vein, a CONCRETE REASON will lead you to the DOORS of HR. Otherwise, continuing with CONCRETING and DOORS of Civil Construction will be the better option!
