Hi Menakaji, 22.12.14.

I am pleased to noe that u r managing HR works of 1000 employees in Bihar & u need Holiday List-2015 & HR Policies. H-List is furnished above. You may select National & Festival Holidays as per ur Company's Policies + Local customs.

For Continuous Processing Plants/Estt. for uninterrupted Works, I suggest to

Provide 2 Optional Holidays with proposed National & Festival Holidays sothat there is Min.MP to man Essential Services like Prodn.,Elec, HR etc., as most employees will not observe all Festivals & so, when one set of employees from one Community avail Holidays, the other set will work and vise-versa. Thus, Min. MP can be ensured by adjusting MP to suit shift needs & avoid OT or stop work due to Holidays.

2. PERSONAL INFN. CHANGES NOTIFICATION (P.I.C.N.) - FORM:

Most HR Dept. have Per.Files on all employees with Co.Appn. / Bio-Data Form + Certificates Copies for DOB, Qlfcn., Exp.Salary, PA, etc.,.

Still, it is found that manyemployees details are not uptodate & essential infn. is missing when HRD urgently require them; i.e.

1. Present Address to send Notice,

2. Nominees details to Notify death/accident of X,

3. To know Marital / dependents details,

4. To verify latest Qlfcn.

As above infn. would have changed after submitting last BIO-DATA -while joining, these dtls tobe collected using above Form in Dec. to uptodate Per.Files by Jan.

I have 30 yrs exp. in HR,IR, LEGAL & Admn. Depts. of 6 Mfg.Cos. Setup HR Dept.,Framed SO, Leave Rules etc., My Co.is closed. Hence, I am providing HR Consultancy. I have all Policies, Procedures & Formats for all HR works for easy adoption.

Framing of HR Policies,

HRManager has to Draft HR Policies after GM/MD giving details. of Cos.Profile, Vision, Mission, Obj.,

Total Manpower reqd, Posts, Levels/Grades,

Salary Band,

Benefits, Facilities etc.

HRM to ask GM/MD

a. What Policies are tobe adopted;

b. Whether HRM to Draft or hire Consultant &

start as appd by GM/MD.

For Big Cos.with 100+ employees, better to hire Consultant with 20+ yrs exp. in labour intensive Mfg.Co./Estt.s who must have handled/exposed to all HR Situations. The Consultant must frame Policies keeping the interest of Co, its employees, Complying with Labour Acts, vis-a-vis similar Cos. in the neighbourhood as HR Policies will affect Co.Reputation as a Model employer & its employees Morale & Retention.

Kindly provide ur mailId to send all dtls.Policies. I am at Bangaluru.

Thanks & With Regards,

C.Neyim,

HR Consultant,
