Dear All, Greetings.
I am working in an IT company and interested to do advance certification on Performance Appraisal/Management system.
even though i have done full time MMS, but my intention is to have some value addition on my profile which will have value in international market also.
also, in my current compnay, there is not systematice appraisal process, so i have to start good appraisal process in this company, but i dont have much knowledge on it.

Dear Shafaat Rasool,

Yes, certification courses are good. They give theoretical understanding of the subject. However, what matters is application of knowledge also. The kind of experience that you will get will have no parallels if you get a chance for practical application of the knowledge. In that case the course certificate becomes redundant.

As such you have done full-time MMS. Do you implement all the knowledge that you have gained in the course?

If you are interested to gain knowledge without getting into the certification course then I can provide the solution.

The essence of PMS lies in identifying the cost-based KPIs for each department. For this first you need to identify the direct and indirect costs of each department. KRAs for each department would be to reduce or manage these costs.
