Hello HR Seniors,

Even DA has been revised over the last couple of months, right? Kindly, could anybody share the Circular or Gazetted Notice from a genuine source that states the rise in ESI & PF limits? My manager mentioned that the Notice is still in paper form and will take some time to be implemented practically... Here, I have observed the same.

I am attaching an article related to this thread. It might be of some help. It states that the ESIC limit shall be increased, although the exact date of its effect is not yet known. We are waiting for the gazette to get approved.

Sir(s), The wage ceiling under ESI Act, 1948 is still Rs. 15000/- per month. The appropriate government has not so far issued any notification of its intention to raise such wage ceiling.

Dear All,

No such notification in this regard has been circulated by the government to date on the rising wage ceiling for PF from 6500 to 15000 and ESIC from 15000 to 25000 respectively. Please wait for the notification; until then, we consider the same as proposed.

Regards,
Eswar
