Dear Seniors, please help me to withdraw my PF. I was employed in a company at Umergaon, Vapi, Gujarat. I worked there from Feb. 2011 to Apr. 2012. I had applied for my PF Settlement. I got to know from the PF Office by mail and also verbally that only my one month's salary is remitted there, and hence it won't be withdrawable. When I asked my company, they sent me a copy of the receipt from the PF Office with a stamp, which shows that PF was remitted for March 2011 to March 2012.
So, please tell me how I can withdraw my PF amount and whom I should contact in this matter to settle.
Thanks

Generally, when an application is rejected for any reason, the notification letter is sent directly to the company, with a copy provided to the respective employees. While your company has given you the copy they submitted, it is the employer's duty to respond to the PF office regarding any queries as the timely remittance of PF contributions is the employer's responsibility, not the employee's. If you still wish to communicate directly with the PF department, you can draft a response letter based on the email received from PF and attach the relevant documents or evidence for their further processing.

Dear Mr., you need to make a complaint with the Grievances Cell of the PF Office with the following documents:
1. Your Last Pay Slip/Certificate (where the PF Deduction is mentioned)
(Attach a Bank Statement of your Salary account as additional proof)
2. Every PF payer must raise a challan to pay the monthly dues by the ECR System.
Mention the Monthly Paid "TRRN" Receipts numbers and the Bank and Branch where the challan was remitted to the EPF A/c - details.
Make a simple complaint with the PF Office to verify your account and to get back the money.

Dear Tushar Ji/N Sharma Ji,
This is the negligence and irresponsibility of the Company HR that they don't see how the employee suffers. In my case, I had a telecon with the Company HR persons and also lodged a complaint in the PF Office. My 3rd complaint registration number at PF Office is SROVP/E/2014/00126, dated 27.02.14, and the mail was sent to P.K. Tiwari, EPF Officer, Vapi. Nobody either from the company or from the EPF office listens to my complaints. Even they don't reply. So please tell me the way to solve this matter.
Secondly, I have not kept my salary slip as it has already been 2 years and lost. I only have the salary bank statement.
Looking forward to your suggestions to solve the matter.
Thanks

EPFO Adalat for Resolving PF Issues
Every EPFO will have an ADALAT every month to address unresolved cases and provide assistance. Please inquire and file the case in the Adalat. In my experience, 90% of cases were resolved this way.

It appears in your case that for PF accounting purposes, three years are involved: 2010-11 (Feb-2011), 2011-12 (March-11 to Feb-2012), and 2011-13 (March-12 & April-12 in your case). The PF department is saying one month could be for Feb-11 alone. Actually, the employer was earlier required to file Form 3A & 6A annually prior to the ECR system coming in. The PF amount would not be appropriated/credited in the employee's account unless the employer submits Form 3A/6A even after making the payment. Therefore, you will have to check the status of these forms to see whether they were filed or not by the employer with the PF department.
Though it's the responsibility of the employer, as an employee, you can keep lodging complaints with the PF department, but the payment would only be possible upon crediting the amount in your account.
Please let me know if you need further clarification or assistance.

Issue with Multiple PF Accounts
I would like to thank you all for your quick response and valuable suggestions to solve my queries. Now, I got to know from the PF office that irresponsible persons from my company had opened two PF accounts for me, one for February 2011 and one for March 2012 onwards. The applied withdrawal PF number was for February 2011, which I was not aware of, showing one month's remittance. No one is finding the cause of this problem in settlement. Now, as per PF officials, I have to inform the Company HR personnel to merge both accounts, and then I can withdraw or transfer the funds to my current PF account.
Questions on PF Account Merging and Transfer
Another question arises after merging the previous accounts: Who will facilitate the transfer to my current PF account? Is it the responsibility/authority of the previous employer or the current employer to merge the previous account with the current one? Additionally, if my PF account is transferred, will my pension account also be transferred? Please suggest.
I am looking forward to your valuable suggestions.
Thanks
