Dear All
I had joined a Co. In 1999, in Mumbai. Soon, after joining I realized that the working environment was not good. My probation period was also extended by another 3 months. The company said that it is sending me to Italy for three months, and will decide about ,my future after the feedback they will get from Italy. I was asked to sign a Bond in which it was written that I am going to Italy for a training....When I went there, I was assigned work and no training was provide to me. After I came back to India, although I got a good feedback from the Italy office, nothing improved and I had to continue working in that same environment. as before.
After sometime, I got a better opportunity and left the job. The Company then filed a case against me, on the basis that I left during my tenure...... Kindly help, and let me know what to do.
Regards
Anand.

What is the penalty clause mentioned in the Surety Bond, you have to pay the amount mentioned therein for all the expenses made on you by the company for your Italy assignment. If you think that the penalty amount is much more than the cost incurred on you, you can challenge them in the court of law.
