Dear Vaybhav,

Please brief me on what the employer does after the employee submits the PF withdrawal forms to the employer. What are all the steps taken by employees before submitting it to the PF office?

Regards,
Vaybhav

Dear Vaybhav,

Once you submit the PF withdrawal form to your employer, they will go through the following points:

1. Check that the complete form is filled out correctly, including details like PF code, name, date of joining the fund, and last working date.
2. Ensure all documents required by the PF are enclosed, such as a cancelled cheque from your bank, Form 3A if necessary, and your signature in the designated places.
3. Obtain the authorized person's signature (Employer) on the form.
4. Submit the form to the PF office.

Note: The PF withdrawal form should be submitted after two months from the date of leaving the previous organization.

It's already in the form of a withdrawal. It's the contribution mentioned for the current period i.e. Mar to Feb. You don't need to worry about it. HR will take care of it.

The claim will be cleared within 45 working days.
