Hello Raghavendra
Nothing wrong with the answer. May be he was expecting a more detailed answer. Its a very tricky subject and everyone is looking for the perfect answer. Such questions are thrown in to bring some lightness in the interview process. So dont worry much about it, but a smart answer to such question can really increase your chances of recruitment :-)

Dear Raghavendra,
Your friend could have given just one word reply and that is "collaborative". Though it is just one word reply, it has tremendous depth in it.
Nevertheless, one should have capability to explain the depth of this word.

such type replies are not expected from an HR professional. Reply should not start with a finishing touch. Its a lay man reply.
