Greetings !!!
I am recently join one construction company there are 30 peoples staff working in office. and others are working on site. once i join i observe that there is improper working culture like,lack of punctuality,egoism between junior to senior.employees are doing unusual working.. in short they are doing lots of time pass and most of employees are working from 2 to 5 years.
most of the day seniors peoples are going outside for the meetings some other works so that time i am responsible for handling all employees, i have to manage all responsibilities of the office
So i have to stop all these improper things completely, not immediately but have to stop.
so please Help me out for resolving these problem smoothly.

Dear Chetan
Pl check your company has framed rules for staff. If it is already there please implement the same. If it is not there please frame a set of fresh Rules and include in them rules for whatever the problems that you experience now and that you expect that may crop up in future. Put those draft rules in the notice board for the suggestions from employees. After some period you can implement the same.

right now there is any kind of rules and policies in the firm. then i have to move forward.

Dear Mr Chetan,
As you said you are new to the organisation and others are employed for 2-5 yrs. You must first find out why the system of "Discipline" was not been enforcable. If you try to implment or enforce the new "Discipline" syatem, the others may not like the same and make you the scapegoat. Try to ascertain from the management as to why strict discipline was not implemented ?. Only if you get a proper response from management in this regard, you may go ahead. Otherwise, be a part of the team and slowly show your leadershp skills in improving the new system.

You make me remember of my joining last year back,
I do was in the same situation n the same enviroment...
But I tried and worked harder to know the reason behind all that thing which were making the work place improper,
' There were no Policies in the company which a employees would follow,'
Every day I use to sit with my MD maam and discussed the thing which should be implemented,With those point I prepared the
the policies of the company, It has been implemented with the grace with the approval by the
Managemenrt. AND Gradually Everyone accepted the system which is very much needed in any organisation.
I would suggest you that Observe the reason behind the enviroment, think for the right solution and discuss with your management,
I am sure the management will give the approval to the policies made by you because Company do need that, you are the one who can make
the thing sorted out that is why you are appointed, and make the working enviroment smoothly with the implementation of policies in the right way.
