Please indicate the minimum wage followed for job contract piece rate employees for the retired persons.
Persons who work by practice without ITI qualification.
Is the money normally deducted if the Tiffin & Tea worth Rs 20 and meals worth Rs 30 served by force because it is served to regular employees.
Being a Govt company, regular employees run machines only for 5 to 5 1/2 hours in a shift of 8, leaving 1/2 hr each at the start and end of the shift. 1/2 to 3/4 hr for Tiffin & Tea and 1 to 1 1/4 hr for lunch against 1/2 hr standard, and this effect is also there on Piece rate Job contract employees also. They request to fix the Piece rate as per a 5 hrs shift. Please suggest the practice followed in the industry in general.
This is because we compete with the private industry, where employees work for 7 1/2 hrs to 8 hrs in an 8 1/2 hours shift and there they run 2 machines against one machine in ours and sometimes 2 persons.
