Dear Sheikhmeesha
Have you filled the Form 10C and Form 19 and submitted to your previous organisation. If so, hope you are having the copy of the application duly submitted to your office. Please confirm from your previous office regarding the date of submission to the Regional PF Office and approach the concerned PF Office and get it clarified from the PF Officials.

When the company has already submitted the document to the PF Authority, that indicates that you have completed the formalities, and assuming that is PF withdrawal and not transfer, I should say withdrawals consumes a lot of time so 8 months if not a delay in that matter, so wait for it you will surely get your amount and you need not worry about that........
In case of PF, transfers are always suggested, the process if very fast and it must be done in a specific time, but withdrawal takes time, so you shall have patience and keep in touch with the company, as soon as it is settled they will inform you. you can also go to the related PF office and esquire about it with the copy of related documents and details.........

Thank you for your help.
I am done with all the formalities and also i am not worried about the money, the only thing that is bothering me is that my manager said they have submitted documents and that i shall follow the case myself now. I want to know is it my duty or Company responsibilty to follow the case?

Dear Sheikhmeesha
It is not the matter of responsibility. The Matter is the Money. If you want to get the money, then you have run behind. You can take a copy of the application which you are having with you and take the despatch details from your office and approach the RPFO and get it cleared. You cannot expect the manager will run for your money. If you file any case for non settlement, then he can escape by simply showing the despatch details to the court of law. Because he has performed his duty by sending the PF Claim form to RPFO.

Dear Bhaskar
I dont have any application copy or details with me because the entire job was to be done by the complaince manager of the company and that person has none other job there other than this. The manager said that i have to do this on my own but i think its wholy and solly company's responsibility.

Dear Sheikhmeesha,
When the withdrawal forms are submitted by the company (officials) at the PF department they give an acknowledgement receipt of it. Acknowledgement receipt is a confirmation that the PF withdrawal forms (Form 19, 10C, 3A) in the name of "so n so" employee has been submitted on particular date.
You can ask your manager to give you the copy of that acknowledged receipt. Basis that you can yourself go to the PF Department and look out for the status.
Once the receipt is received by the company, they will never take the follow ups as for them their task is over. Now if you bother for your money you can take the responsibility but can never fight for knowing who's responsibility is it !!! Anyway you've already mentioned that you are not worried about the money so matter ends here.
For your simple question - it is (but not) company obligation.

hi friend stating upon ur query i would like to join with you for asking a clear question to the employers.if u have filed all your documents perfectly.its a first and foremost duty of the hr to follow and settle down the PF for the employee in a stipulated time.in the meantime we also have to follow with the Prevoius company for the process.once the company had submitted the pf documents to the concerned PF office in Your area, then the responsibility of their duty begins. Its better for you to note down ur PF number and search in the pf website to get a clear status of ur pf.
i hope u might get a idea from my reply.
Thanking u
