The employee Identity Card is issued for the individual employee for identity purpose by the organisation. In case of any problem arising outside the office / workplace premises then the employee concerned can use the card for self identity in that locality to the local authorities who are verifying the identity of the individuals. No act is insisting the companies or any organisation to issue the identity card to their employees.
