Dear seniors,

I am working at xxxx Service Center as an HR Executive. I was tasked with establishing a new HR department, a goal which I have almost accomplished in the last 10 months. However, I now find myself with a lack of tasks, which is making me feel bored. I am seeking ways to keep myself busy, so please provide me with some ideas for innovative HR work practices.

Thank you.

Hi Neetu,

As you have established the HR department newly in your organization, make your employees aware of what kind of activities are carried out in the HR department and do some employee engagement activities to build rapport with your employees.

Dear Neetu,

The best way to remain engaged is by constantly innovating and improving respectively. The system you have implemented must be a very well-thought process, tailor-fit to the organization's needs. However, did you audit the implementation? What are the gaps that you have noticed so far, and how would you improve upon them?

In terms of newer implementations, please consider the areas that are best parallel to your firm's needs. Which are the areas that you have considered and identified? HR Analytics is very interesting and requires high involvement too. This brings credibility to the HR process and helps make it error-free. Similarly, leadership development, legal, and other areas will bring fresh learning for you.

Please share if any of our suggestions are aligned with what you have been looking for. What are the problems you might face when considering or implementing in your situation? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.

It seems like you have done everything, leaving no scope for further development. I hope there is a lot more for me to learn from you. Could you be kind enough to let us know if you are taking care of the following activities? If yes, is there anything you want to do more than you expected in favor of employees and your organization.

1) TALENT MANAGEMENT & PMS
2) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
3) EMPLOYEE TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
4) EMPLOYEE WELFARE and maybe more...

With profound regards,
