What I want is a brief overview of all the acts or short notes on bare acts like the Factories Act, Bonus Act, PF Act, etc. The material I have found on the internet is extensive. Therefore, I am looking for something more concise.

I am in need of provisions of labour laws (details like various statutory approvals to be obtained and intimations to be made in advance to various statutory authorities) and HR activities to be carried out before the establishment of a factory in Tamil Nadu.

Hello V N Rao Sir,

Firstly, you need to register yourself under the Factories Act. If it is a private company under the Companies Act, 1956, you should get the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) prepared and register your company with the Registrar of Companies.

Regarding the provisions of labor law, it also depends on the size of the factory, which means the number of persons employed. It may be beneficial to purchase a book on labor law to familiarize yourself with the regulations since it is not feasible to list all the provisions here.

This will assist you in understanding the detailed provisions as the owner, which you must be aware of.
