We are situated in Navi Mumbai with 28 employees. In the month of April 2011 we inadvertenty paid PF contribution only for 26 employees. Please help me - How could i pay pf for balance 2 employee.
Any form has to submit to pf or can i raise seperate challan for 2 employee and pay the contribution?
Please guide me.

Dear Meenakshi,
You can submitts the paid the difference amount by submitting the supplimentory challan & if you have already submitted the annual return as per 26 employees. so, you need to submitts the revised one along with stating one covering letter on same.

Please let us know whether the mistake took place for one month - April 2011 only or continued thereafter only. If it is a question of one month only, then corrective step is very simple. Work out the interest for the missed subscription+contribution and add the principal + interest till date and remit it in the following month. Mistakes do happen. Corrective steps correct them. Interest on the delayed remittance is of course to be borne by the company. That will compensate the concerned employees.
