Hi
NCP days stands for "Non Contributing Period" Days
It means the days for which PF contributions has not been paid.
In other words, the AB days of employee's, for which he is not being paid and his PF contributions have not been calculated are NCP days.

Hi..
Is NCP days means the no. of days an employee is absenting from the job..for example if the employee ''A'' is absent for 4 days in the month of march so in NCP column the no. of days will be 4 for that month. If the employee is absent for long period i.e. say 45 days then while making the ECR the absenting days will be calculated for that particular month or from the period he is absent.

Yes Its correct. NCP days are the days for which employee is absent for the particular month and his PF is not calculated for that period of time. It's Non Contributory Period for the particular month.

IF ONE EMPLOYEE ABSENT IN FULL MONTH THEN HOW TO CALCULATE NCP DAYS. Ex. TOTAL DAYS OF THE MONTH (31) - Weekly Off=ACTUAL WORKING DAY ie 31-4 =27 NCP Days is it right?

Vikas, Weekly offs are entitle to employees so that they are considered as present and employees are paid for those offs as well. Therefore, only LOP days will be considered as NCP days...

Hi, I am Sundar. I need to clarify something.

An employee joined after the 21st day of a month. His absence was 4 days thereafter.

NCP - 24 / 4?

Before his date of joining in that particular month, are the previous days accountable for NCP?
