Dear Mr Dhingra,
After reading your views on different postings today, I have analysed that you are more intrested in opposing the posting made instead of getting into a healthy discussion for a problem solution. I personally don't know you but as per your signature, your profile should support in leading the community members in a constructive way. Your writings seems more of a questioning attitude instead of problem solving being as a management consultant.
Nothing to post personal but I would recommend that you should consider the community members emotions as well before posting your comments.

Dear All,
I am enjoying the healthy discussions that the forum is conducting.Having said that :
"holding the salary of an employee'' sounds very very tyrannical!--translated in Hindi would mean<<<<Jaa teri pagar japt kar li hai>>>> Jo karna hai woh kar le <<.For thousands this is exactly happening in the hinterlands and many other parts of India.
However we are discussing the very subtle and submissive last plea*******Maine Aisa Kya Kiya Hai Jo Muje Mere Mehnat Ke Paise Nahi Mileinge??????.Main Kab Aaoon???.
Please Ponder,
Regards,
Retainer.

Greetings,
We honor views, but here's a request. Before commenting on anyone, please consider how would you present it, if that person was standing in front of you.
With due regards to the views shared on what is some one posting, lets keep the focus on sharing knowledge.
About, Mr. Dhingra, he is a very senior professional, from the industry. His words are guidance, best taken with due respect. Communication is often tricky. What we may find commanding in someone, might seem as an air of casual sense and often tardiness, in us to them.
A clear question helps us to brain storm and provide the apt solution. Here's a thread where you may find what I wish to explain.
Employee -employer strife

Dear Members,

Lets not judge any member on any grounds, irrespective of SENIORITY/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION etc. Please recall these quotes before responding to any thread 1)."ALL FIVE FINGERS ARE NOT SAME" 2)."NONE IS PERFECT IN THIS WORLD & I AM NOBODY". Respect individuals as HUMAN's and nothing else. We don't hate anyone in this world, i can prove it, as we only hate BAD HABITS visible to us.

Written communication is NON-DIRECT COMMUNICATION. A Reader, perceives information from his/her own perspective, if not understood. Our prime responsibility to under the ORIGINATOR/THREAD OWNER and his/her QUERY(S). We should more information by putting forward our suggestions to gain relative information rather commenting with informal(negative) tone. There is a way for making individuals understand about the CONSEQUENCES involved/associated rather making them feel that they are WRONG. If we succeed in supporting queries posted with relevant information, then the objective of the forum is met.

We are here to SHARE/LEARN/ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE, SUPPORT/PROMOTE GOOD PRACTICES, UNDERSTAND TRENDS/PROFESSIONALS and do lot more GOOD THINGS.

I didn't mean to hurt or support anyone. I don't believe in doing anything that can be a reason for loosing anything which we didn't wish for. WORDS SPOKEN CANNOT BE TAKEN BACK........IN SIMILAR WAY ONCE IT IS POSTED, AFTER ITS READ, EVEN IF YOU MODIFY IT, WE CAN'T REGAIN OUR IMAGE, LOST.

Please practice to be a "DOWN TO EARTH PERSONALITY". Good luck MEMBERS.

With profound regards

Dear DEADSOUL,
Please change your ATTITUDE, as you sound NEGATIVE all the time. I am not trying to judge you but, it is you who are responsible for CREATING or DESTROYING your IMAGE/IDENTITY/REPUATION.
Please try to interpret this in POSITIVE WAY "NONE OTHER THAN ME IS HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DESTROYING MYSELF".......as every individual is responsible for their life.
We only advise those, whom we like/love/respect.
Forgive me, if i am/was wrong. Hope you will not mistake me.
With profound regards

Dear Saswat,
I think you have not seen properly in response to which post of Shivani, I posted my reply. His post contained the following text, with no specific reason:
"The reason i wrote I started a thread is to gain knowledge and to know what happens if this area persists.its not necessary i am being a part of such an activity or its my feeling. It merely a question ."

If she posted some specific reason which could justify withholding of pay of an employee, I would have replied accordingly. XYZ cannot be any valid reasons. In my reply, I merely asked her to quote SPECIFIC REASON on which she would like to enhance her knowledge. EVEN AFTER THAT SHE HAS NOT QUOTED ANY SPECIFIC REASON SO FAR AFTER HER PREVIOUS POSTS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU FEEL WAS THE REASON SHE QUOTED.

Dear Harpreet,
Healthy discussions are not made on XYZ (unknown) grounds. Had Shivani interested in enhancing her knowledge she could well have asked on what reasons salary can be put on hold instead of asking on "XYZ" reasons. You were also welcome to place your views as a matter of healthy discussion to enhance her knowledge, if you felt that you could better guide her on XYZ reasons, rather than criticising my post.
BUT, if you prefer only negative approach as HR professional, you would not be benefitting, either the company you serve, or yourself, and what to say of the employee. An HR professional must learn to effectively build a sincere team of employees, rather than create an army of disgruntled employees without any specific reason behind that just to demonstrate ego being at the controlling position. I am of the opinin that employees suffer the most ony on account of the negative approach of some professionals at the helm of affairs.

From India, Delhi
Harpreet, only you and Shivani needed to pay attention on Alwar's advice, as both of you seem to believe in XYZ (unspecific) reasons for taking a wrong action, not me. I have already replied your earlier post criticising my reply on which you need to pay specific attention, rather than wielding your uncalled for and undelegated powers on the employees.

Mr Dhingra,
If you see my post I have later on mentioned two reasons I could think at that point of time.
I have not been so active on Cite hr and now i will make sure I write in a lucid manner so its communicated in an effective manner. At the same time would appreciate if you share your knowledge but dont criticize anyone.Share and we will learn together. No one is perfect.
I would here really agree with shalini,as she very well put a message beautifully(Kindly consider us as a learner, don't expect that we cant ask a simple query which is equally important. This forum gives us all the opportunity to sort and discuss our doubts and learn new things)

Dear Harpreet,
We should refrain ourselves form commenting on any member in this community. All have there own area of expertise. Mr. Dhingra is a very senior, very humble and humanistic person as i could gather all from his posts. If you do not agree to his point of view that is your wish. You may put forward your views with reasonable reasons in that post itself. Mr. Dhingra will, i am sure, if will be wrong will accept that. But just by saying that he rather opposes every post is not correct way.
