Dear All,
Find attached herewith the copy of the Notification issued by the Govt. of Delhi revising the minimum rates of wages payable in Delhi w.e.f. 01.04.2011 in 27 scheduled employments in Delhi in English.
It may be noted that with the issue of this notification, the earlier Notification on the basis of which the Govt. used to increase the Minimum wages will cease to have effect.
Further, the Notification has been issued separately for all 27 scheduled employments instead of earlier times when only one Notification used to amend the wages for all scheduled employments.
The list of scheduled employment is as follows:
1. Agriculture
2. Automobile Engineering including Servicing and Repair Work of Automobiles
3. Bakery, Confectionery, Dairy products, Food preservation, etc.
4. Cement working Establishments
5. Chemicals
6. Clubs
7. Construction and Maintenance of roads or in Building operation
8. Dal and Flour Mills
9. Delhi Transport Corporation
10. Foundries with or without machine shop
11. Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes not carried on by Government or local Authorities
12. Ice Factories and Cold Storages
13. Laundries, Laundry services, Cleaning and Dyeing Plants i.e. Factories/shops
14. Metal working Establishments other than Foundries and Automobile Engineering Workshop
15. Oil Mills
16. Plastic, Rubber including Cable industries
17. Pottery Industries
18. Printing Press
19. Private Unrecognized Teaching Institutions
20. Public Motor Transport
21. Readymade Garments
22. All Shops and other establishments (Covered by Delhi shops and Establishment Act, 1954)
23. Stone Breaking/Stone crushing
24. Textile Industry including Hosiery Handloom, Niwar, Lace, Thread Ball Mfg. Name Label, Dyeing, printing of Textile
25. Manufacturing of Radio and Television including sound producing and recording Equipment including tape recorders, electric apparatus, appliances & their accessories
26. All registered factories not covered by any other scheduled employment
27. Wood working Establishments including sawmills
The Notification for employment not covered by the list of scheduled employment i.e. "Employment in All Shops and other Establishments covered by the Delhi Shops & Establishment Act-1954 is in the last four pages of the attached Notification.
