There is no standard notice period for the companies. It is depending on the company policies. Some companies are following one month notice period . Some of them are following 45 days notice period, etc.;.

There is nothing like a general notice period. Mostly for entry to middle level it is 30 days and it can be 3 months for senior level depending upon the current status of projects and position they are handling. Again it is depending on companies policy.
You can refer your appointment letter to know your notice period.

The notice period for resignation would be as per the terms of appointment. It will be usually 30 to 60 days after confirmation depending on the company policies. Otherwise, during probationary period, there is no need for notice period in general. But again, it depends on company policy, terms of appointment, etc.

Each managenet having diffrent procedures...some company probaitoney period nothing notice period, if after confirmation executive leavel one month notice period above manager leave 1 to 3 month notice periods.
