Dear HR Professionals,
Our organization (Dearler) has been merged with another dealer, with 65% control now belonging to the other dealer. Can anybody provide me with suggestions regarding the leave policies? For example, will the leaves of our employees lapse due to the new appointments in the other dealer, or is there another course of action we should consider?
I appreciate your kind response.
Thanks,
Raman

Raman,
The previous company must make an agreement with the new company to take over the liabilities of the previous company, such as gratuity, PF transfer, leaves, etc., as the employees are not at fault. Otherwise, they will have to settle with the employees before the merger.

At the end of the year, unavailed CL are clubbed with the EL. If the accumulation of SL is over 40 dyas, can be clubbed with the EL. However, it depends on Companies policy.
