Dear Seniors,
I am a resident of Dubai and working as an HR professional. I would like to know which curriculum I should go for between CIPD qualification and XLRI's PGD programme. Basically, I am an MBA-HR from an AICTE approved college.
I seek your advice on understanding the benefits I would get from the two courses if pursued.
Regards,
Rinshu

You follow the right-side items, and full clarification is there about CIPD and SHRM, both UK and USA professional bodies. XLRI is a reputed institute in India next to IIM-ACB as per old feelings.

Dear Rinshu, If you willing to settle down in India after sometimes, the XLRI one is best option. You can try TISS, and some other reputed Indian Institutes also. S.Sethupathy, Excellent HR Services.

Dear Mr. Acharya,
Thank you for your quick reply. Although I understand the basic difference between CIPD and XLRI's PGD qualification, my concern is whether pursuing CIPD and potentially returning to India in the future would result in it being recognized there, and what future prospects I could expect.
I have also heard that in CIPD, they solely provide course material without practical sessions, whereas in XLRI's PGD program, I will have the opportunity to interact with XLRI's faculty, which I believe would be a valuable experience. However, I am uncertain about which program would offer me a better and more comprehensive view of HR.
To all senior members,
Kindly assist me with this matter.
