In the manufacturing sector or otherwise, the best-known models of business performance are:
a) TATA Business Excellence Model
b) People Capability Maturity Model
c) DuPont Model
d) Baldrige Award
However, all the above are high-end models. If you fall under the SME category, it is better to follow a simple Performance Management System (PMS) model. Let it stabilize in your company, and then you can scale up. However, to stabilize PMS, you would need at least five years.
Just yesterday, I conducted a training program on PMS. All the participants were from HR only, and they were more than happy. You may talk to your management and propose arranging my training for all the managers. You would get more than what you need.
