Safety - Always Follow

Attached is the PowerPoint presentation of a horrible HV Accident. At various job sites, we come across many High Voltage installations/equipment of customers or third parties. Please make yourself aware of such Highly Hazardous equipment, maintain a SAFE distance, and never handle them yourself. Also, please communicate to all colleagues for their safety. Please open this file only if you have a strong gut and if you care about avoiding accidents.

Please obey safety rules and precautions on the job and off the job. It’s your own safety… it’s your own life.

Regards

I am saddened by what I just saw. My appeal to all who handle such machines and whose nature of job requires good situational awareness is to be more careful. No matter how competent you may be, complacency puts you at a high-risk level.

It's not only yourself you need to think about, but also keep in mind the people who are connected with you. Follow safety operation procedures.

Dear Raghu,

That was really horrible. Good that you shared this with us. It can be seen as a lack of LOTO.

@ Malojipatel

A warm welcome to our forum. Your sharing was also quite horrible. Electricity is a slave when under control and is the most needed thing in today's world. Nobody can even think of a stage where electricity is not available. But do take care when dealing with it.

Good thread. I hope many forum members benefit from it.

Let's keep on sharing and keep up the pace.

Great presentation. It can be used for training purposes. Thanks for sharing.

You can also check out the thread by Mr. Inderjeet Singh in this forum. It includes footage of a live accident that occurred near our plant. The incident took place at RITHOLA. Remember to "Drive safely."
