Hi, Sonali,
Many organizations used to refer to this as Employee Engagement, Employee Satisfaction, Employee Opinion, Organizational Climate Survey. This concept falls under organizational development. Employee engagement checks whether the employees working for that organization are satisfied with their job. It examines any problems, conflicts, grievances, and the organization's needs from staff. It also considers the expectations from both employees and management. The best method to follow is the Questionnaire Method.

Thank you, Sapna. It's very informative and provides a good view. I have been offered the role of Employee Engagement Manager in my current company. I have a strong background in HR, mainly in recruitment. Since it's a new role, I was not sure about the expectations. Your email has helped me. Thanks again; I really appreciate it.

Hi! Best of luck to you.
An Employee Engagement Manager is more like knowing each and every pulse of your employee. Mainly, it involves surveys, feedback meetings, implementation of roles, and changes. It's a cycle, akin to performance management systems. It is very challenging and exciting.
Companies are opting for EEM as no one wants to outsource it to companies like Hewitt, Gallup, etc., where they charge huge amounts, and the same can be done by an external team.
Email me if you would like to know more.
