i am working as hr executive in news and entertainment channel. we recruited the employees as temparory basis and we are paying salaries as stifund. my question is that can we treated these employees as apprentice and is apprentice covered under pf and esi. plz give me reply its very very required to me

apprentice covered under apprenticesip act are not covered either with PF Or ESI, but apprentice appointed under Company standing orders need to be covered for both.

Apprentice has to be covered under ESI as well as PF if you put them in company rolls, and the same will not be applicable if you appoint under apprentices act-1961, and being in company rolls if anyone completes 480 days of service they have to be taken to company workmen rolls...
