Dear K.S. Yadav,

Regarding Form No. 11 that was sent to the Assistant Director, it is meant to calculate the total number of adults and the corresponding age range as per legal requirements.

In any given month, the total number of men and women fluctuates. Should this information be submitted to the Assistant Director only once, or should it be sent whenever there are changes in manpower?

Your valuable suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

Form No. 11 under the Factories Act must be displayed with figures on a daily basis on the board, paper at the gate, or notice board. The notice should only be sent when changing the timing of shifts, which can be weekly, monthly, or so.

Thank you.

Dear Karamvir,

Form 11 is displayed on the notice board, indicating the number of persons working in each shift. This information is verified by the factory inspector when he visits your factory for inspection.

This form is useful for knowing the exact shift timings and the maximum number of persons available in the shift. While the plan is being approved by the factory inspectorate, they verify the position of machinery and the number of persons employed, ensuring that there is sufficient movement space for people.

Adult workers, as per the Factories Act, are workers who have attained the age of 18 years. However, in which section is it mentioned that only adult workers have to be recruited in the factory?
