Hi,
I have two questions for everyone regarding PF.
1) Is the claim status on EPF websites updated as it is claimed to be?
2) How many days does it take for the PF to be credited to your account?
Please provide me with this information.

Hi Shivani,
Regarding your queries:
1) No, PF claim amounts are not updated regularly on the PF website.
2) The question is not very clear. If you are looking for information on claims after submitting the forms, it usually takes a minimum of 30 days for the amount to be credited to your account. Sometimes, it may even take months.

Hi Shivani,
I hope you have your PF account number right. Certainly, it will get credited to your account. Sometimes, due to delays in the process, it may take 2 to 3 months as well. In my case, it took more than a year to get credited to my account.
Nevertheless, you should visit the PF office and inquire about the status of your PF claims. If visiting is not feasible, try calling them to check the status. While it's possible that nobody may respond to your phone call, it's still worth a try.

Hi Shivani,
This is to inform you that:
1. Normally, PF Claims are updated on the EPF website. Please be specific when choosing the location to check the PF status.
2. Earlier, till December 2009, PF status claims were updated within 25 to 30 days, and full settlement was made within a maximum of 45 working days. However, nowadays, it takes 30 to 45 days to update the claim status on the website, and it takes a minimum of 60 to 75 working days to credit into your account.
3. The update on the website indicates that they have acknowledged your file.
So, hope for the best.

Dear All,
I have one question about PF account slips, i.e. We already sent the PF records from March to February, but the account slips have not arrived from the PF office. Will they send them, or do we need to go to the PF office to collect the slips? What is the solution, please tell me.
Thanks

Hi Shivani,
Not to worry, your money will be safe. The only thing is it will be delayed. If you find any discrepancies in the amount you received, you can dispute it and claim your money.
Try to obtain the Form 3a "Annual Returns" from your employer. This form will be helpful for your claims.
Regards :)

Dear friend,
Your questions are as follows:
1) Is the claim status on EPF websites updated as it is claimed to be? It will update automatically.
2) How many days does it take for the PF to be credited to your account? It will take more than one month.
Whatever is warm and inspiring, whatever means most to you, whatever makes you smile and brings you joy... that's what I wish for you. All the best.

Dear Shivani,
I have serious doubts about whether the PF claims are updated regularly like other government websites.
To answer your question:
In my opinion, the PF authorities generally wait for a period of 60 days after you submit the claim and then commence the processing (in the event you are switching from one employment to another). This waiting period is to give time to assess whether the employee is likely to join yet another industry covered under the EPF act. Another factor is that you can still transfer your EPF account from one employer to another.
After the expiry of the 60-day period, the claims are processed.
However, if you are about to attain the age of superannuation, the claims can be submitted. If my memory serves me right, it is 90 days (not sure of the exact number of days) prior to the date of superannuation. You can rest assured that you will receive the claim amount on the date of your superannuation, if not earlier. For this to happen, the employer needs to submit a declaration that they will contribute the PF amount for the period ending at superannuation since the claim is being submitted in advance.
Trust this clarifies the matter.
