Hi...
Can anyone pls tell me if it is ok to go back to previous company on a lower designation.. I was working as AM in a reputed company but due to some problems i had to quit. I was w/o job for more than one and a half year. My previous company is ready to take me on a lower designation but a new process altogether and a decent package.
Pls help me to get away with my confusion...
Someone pls reply...

Hello nzr75, Its your decision whether to go in previous company or not. But what decision you take then you should have faith on that. regards

Hi,
It would be advisable only in case of severe desperation. I presume having spent 18 months without a gainful employment it is the first thing to do.
However if you are having some other discussions under progress, you may adopt wait and watch otherwise grab what ever is possible.
kind regards

Thanks so much for your reply...
Well currently am working with a charitable trust on a lesser package. I am confused whether should i opt for Lower designation with high package or High designation with lesser package with the charitable trust.

I would suggest you to opt for Higher Designation with lower package coz i am sure everybody knows nowdays it is easy to get a salary hike but not easy to get the designation hike.
You should continue right now and keep lookin for similar profile that you were handling 18 months ago.
