Kindly help me what is the changes between workmen compensation policy and employee compensation policy.
And let me know can we consider Group Insurence policy of any of contractor'S under the employee compensation policy.

There is no difference between Workmen compensation policy & Employee's Compensation policy.
Earlier Employee Compensation Policy was known as Workmen Compensation. The term workmen has been replaced with the term employee in the Employee Compensation Act.
Yes, You can consider policy of your contractor under EC Act.

Kindly let me know,in group insurence policy there is a limit for compensation.But under EC policy there is no limit for compensation.
If compensation fixed by depatment more than the policy fixed limit,where is the provision for making the compensation of difference amount.
