It depends on your size of the company & salary range. You may even think of conducting interview in Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, saudi as many indian engineers wants to come back and it will be an "WIN- WIN " situvation.

Hey Govind,
Our company is only around 5 yrs old. However it is expanding at a very high pace. A lot of projects are coming up, thats why we are constantly looking out for civil engineers.
The problem with Indian Engineers in Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi is that they do not fit into our salary structure. Because the engineers with the same level of experience & competence in India are willing to come at a comparatively lower price. Also, we have no plans as of now to conduct Interviews in these countries.
Our focus os of now is to find good civil engineers from Mumbai itself.

Hey Jayant,
As mentioned earlier our we are a new construction company. Our projects currently are located in Mumbai. However we are exploring the idea of doing some projects outside Mumbai also, which may be materialized in a year or so.
We are presently looking out for civil engineers at all levels ranging from freshers, middle to senior level. We have also tied up with some consultants, however the results are not as per our expectations.
Do you know of any consultants who specialize in the construction Industry??

why don't you go for a campus recruitment for getting freshers?
B'cos i am also a civil engineer and by the time i left the campus there is no campus recruitment. These days most of the civil engineerng orgn's are conducting campus recruitment. N also u can grab them for a less salary also.

Now the teand is changeing & construction business is becomeing organized & unless you keep pace with current trends in construction trends. PLease note unless you do not advice your management about what is happening ( you too should keep a open eye) in this industry you will lose the race.
